Corgis and Jack Russells to race in Cody this week

The Jack Russell/Corgi races this week promise to be a doggone good time — and for a good cause.

A fundraiser for Park County Animal Shelter, the sixth annual Jack Russell/Corgi Races take place on Friday, Jan. 15, at the Cody Auditorium.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the races follow at 7 p.m. Food and beverages will be available, and there also will be a silent auction, raffles and door prizes.

Admission is $10 at the door, and kids 6 and under are free. Families of four or more are $30.

Advance tickets for $10 include admission, plus a chance at a $500 drawing. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Park County Animal Shelter (PCAS), Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, Rawhide Coffee, Advance Veterinary Care Center, the Powell Tribune or from any PCAS board member.
